Club rules

The Schaan Woodchucks Basketball Club has different team groups for basketball players who enjoy the sport. Participation in the training sessions is subject to a fee and must be paid before the start of the season. For a smooth cooperation, it is important to live fair play not only externally but also within our club. By adhering to our club and behavioral rules, everyone contributes to this.

Basic Rules:

  • The gymnasium may only be entered during training times. Please note the gymnasium's closing times (Calendar / Hall Plan).
  • Only the assigned changing room may be entered and used.
  • Wear appropriate sportswear and sports shoes.
  • Remove watches and jewelry such as rings, necklaces, etc. during training (risk of injury).

Behavioral Rules:

  • Treat your teammates, coaches, officials, referees, and opponents with fairness and respect. Avoid insults, complaints, or violence.
  • Adapt to the group and respect each individual in the team.

Not Accepted (Taboo Rules):

  • Reprehensible insults/profanity towards teammates, coaches, officials, referees, and opponents.
  • Racist and demeaning statements.
  • Bullying, excluding, and driving out of team members (mobbing).
  • Theft of club and player equipment.

In case of violation of any of the above-mentioned "Taboo Rules," the following measures will be taken:

  • Warning by officials with a report to the club board. The club board may exclude the player from playing and training activities for some time.
  • In case of repetition, the club board will decide on further measures, which, depending on the offense, range from a written warning to expulsion from the club.
